BENNY GOODMAN, GLENN MILLER, COUNT BASIE, DUKE ELLINGTON, LOUIS “SATCHMO” ARMSTRONG, AND I DON’T HAVE ENOUGH ROOM TO LIST ALL THE GREAT ONES OF JAZZ that make Jazz, Swing, Big Band Swing the enduring and feel good art form it is. From the thirties and forties, this music was and is an American creation. This music raised the spirits the troops in WWII; even the Japanese played this music for the American troops through their famous disk jockey Tokyo Rose.
