See what a curmudgeon thinks about, when he has time to think. I studied art and architecture in college and left without a degree. College was not a total waste of time and money, I did sell a few watercolor paintings along the way. For 44 years I’ve been married to the same fantastic lady. We raised 2 fantastic sons, have 2 great daughters-in-law and 2 terrific grandchildren. Just as important as what I just mentioned is that on September 1st, 2011 I didn’t retire, I changed lanes. Now I write about anything I want… social commentary, funny stories, politicians, art museums, religion, our governments, wasted food, mobile phone etiquette, or anything else that crosses my path. I don’t take myself seriously. I have no ulterior motive. At 70 I’m not seeking fame or fortune, don’t have time for it. When I want to say something, I want a place to say it without being interrupted. If someone reads what I write, fine; if not, that’s fine too. If I make someone laugh or smile, or rethink something, that’s good. Since most of my followers are not prolific readers, I’m not a prolific writer. I write a NETPUB when I’m in the mood. Regardless, “Thank you very much for taking the time to stop by .” Just call me “HEY RICH”,everyone else does… NOTE: NETPUB translates to “BLOG” . It’s too bad we have to guess what you think, maybe you should consider just speaking your mind! LOL!!
Regarding me speaking my mind… A couple years ago, when I worked for someone else, I supervised a few people. From time to time, someone would complain about this, or that; this was my response, “Please remember, we don’t pick the tune, we just dance when they play.” I certainly don’t want to sound smug, but I’m my own boss now. Now I pick the tune and I decide when I’m going to dance. And I do this with complete respect for everyone and everything I touch…except maybe for our politicians at all the various levels of government.
I don’t take myself seriously and I have no ulterior motive or motives.
I’m glad you enjoyed browsing on my website, and that’s all I can ask for.
