I suggest in the interest of improving home and office safety, all throw rugs, regardless of size, color, thickness or shape, be outlawed! They’re cute, till someone trips over one.  No, I didn’t just trip over one. Most dogs and cats don’t even like them.

All our presidential candidates continue saying the same old thing; it goes something like this, “I’m great and will solve all your problems. My opponents are stupid and haven’t got a clue.” I doubt if any of these presidential candidates has had one, unassisted, original thought in the last 10 years. I don’t care if he’s a Democrat, a Republican, or an Independent, or whatever, but when will one of these guys actually explain, step by step, how he’s going to fix our education system, our economy, our healthcare system and all our other problems? Sorry, but I need more than generalities and promises, especially since these guys are Washington insiders and supposedly know all the ins and outs. As soon as someone does this, that candidate will get my vote (and I’ll skip writing in my name, as a write-in). I hope their plans include, step by step, how they’ll get congress to also approve all of their solutions. Isn’t that why we elect all these people in the 1st place, to solve the problems of the United States.

“STUFF” IN THE NEWS FROM THE OTHER DAY, THAT SHOULD NOT BE IN THE NEWS ON ANY DAY!

“Fearless Felix” to Attempt Stratospheric Jump

Sometime this summer Mr. Felix Baumgartner is planning to jump from 120,000 feet, somewhere over New Mexico, from a helium balloon and free-fall for 5 minutes and 30 seconds before opening his parachute… with the intent of breaking the sound barrier with just the human body. He will be wearing a Next Generation full pressure suite. I wonder what Darwin would say about this deviation in human evolution.
