I don’t know how you feel, but I’ve decided, the only thing in my life I have 100% control of is my integrity.
When we were in high school, college, starting our first job, moving away from dad and mom into our first apartment or house, or getting married, why did some of us let a lot of our hopes, dreams and expectations drift away? We were smart, anxious, excited and in love with almost everything about life. We tried just about anything, at least once. My guess is some of us just didn’t have enough wisdom then to wrap around all those hopes, dreams and expectations, to create a passion for them. No need to regret; it’s not too late. You’re really not that deep into your life to reignite some of those hopes, dreams and expectations. They’re just as exciting and fresh now as when you first discovered them.

Hitting a home run in life is great, but most games are won by hitting lots, I mean a bunch, of just plain old simple hits. Besides, it’s easier to get a hit than a home run, even if you have to bunt.

THROUGH THE MORNING FOG I SEE
LOTS OF REASONS FOR EACH OF US TO BE
CAN WE BE IN MIND AND BODY FREE? AND ARE WE?
WE CAN LOVE AND BE LOVED, BUT DO WE AND ARE WE?
IT’S NOT EASY SOMETIMES IN FOG TO SEE
WHEN YOU SINCERELY CARE, THERE ARE
LOTS OF REASONS FOR EACH OF US TO BE
When I hear someone say something wrapped in racial, religious, sexual or spiritual bigotry, I think… God made all of us. Black, white, red, yellow, brown, or whatever… if you want to put down, make fun or make NO effort to understand something God created, go ahead. I want no part of that.
