YES, I’M STILL WATCHING YOU NEED TO STRAIGHTEN UP AND FLY RIGHT – RIGHT NOW
Shortly after I published my last article, HEAR YE! HEAR YE! 58 YEARS IS LONG ENOUGH…, I decided to get a few more concerns off my chest …
As far as I’m concerned, left-wing, right-wing, Republican, Democrat, Independent, Tea Party, Libertarian, or The Greene Party, etc., most of these candidates just want make sure they’re politically correct just to improve their ratings in the polls to be elected or re-elected. They probably spend more time listening to all the news shows, talk programs, watching the polls and campaigning than they spend in time solving the problems of the United States.
Next, why do they want to be elected and re-elected so badly? With a 6 figure paycheck (and as needed, they can also vote pay increases to themselves), an unreal lifetime pension, the best health insurance benefits on the planet, and other (unnecessary) perks, plus the exorbitant honorariums they get paid for speeches after they retire; it shouldn’t surprise anyone why they spend millions, per person, to be elected and re-elected, to occupy a seat in our congress, or become president. With all this, why can’t they work at least 50 weeks a year like the rest of the American working population?
If these folks did their job, solved our problems, they wouldn’t have to campaign that much; their great track record would stand on its own. They would not have to spend a lot of time away from their “job”, traveling and making speeches (excuses), trying to explain and convince us they will make things better after the next election. Why didn’t they make things better before they had to run for “re-election.”
While all that’s going on, congress is running a Ponzi scheme to keep our Social Security, Medicare and the American economy from imploding.
One more thing, gridlock and belligerence are now a tradition with our Congress. It’s bringing down the United States.
We can’t afford to continually re-elect the people that cause our problems!
These are some more reasons why, from now on, I’m voting for the incumbent’s opponent; and why I’m asking as many people as I can to vote for the incumbent’s opponent. HEAR YE! HEAR YE! 58 YEARS IS LONG ENOUGH…
AMERICA, WE CAN’T GET WASHINGTON’S ATTENTION TO GET THEM TO DO THEIR JOB WHEN ONLY ½ THE VOTERS VOTE. THAT’S THE SAME AS TELLING WASHINGTON WE ARE NOT REALLY THAT CONCERNED ABOUT HOW WELL THEY DO THEIR JOB! THAT SHOULD BE OBVIOUS BY NOW. WE WILL GET THE ATTENTION OF WASHINGTON IF 85% OR 90% OF THE VOTERS VOTE. PLEASE!
